take me home where i belong
to lost memories of the past
where when we spoke, with all of our heart
we were devoid of ridicule
two more gallons of gasoline
revolving metal, revolving mind
i drive on straight, a perfect line
leaving the memories behind
is there a perfect weather sky
way above, above the clouds
passing years driving winding roads
man and machine
flesh and bone merging rust and chrome
i took what might have been
and if i ever could get over you
it wouldn’t have been true?
we walk life backwards, watching the past,
blind to what lies yet ahead.
what was it in us, that made us believe
that this time it would last.
the sun is burning in my eyes (man and machine)
as she loses ground and flies (man and machine)
off and gone into the sky

BBT are standard bearers for modern prog, with a sound that evokes the spirit of those legendary 70s bands whilst managing to also be thoroughly contemporary. It's astonishing that over 30 minutes of music of this quality, with such high production values, is being made available for free - and their full albums are also very reasonably priced... Absolutely hooked on this album from first listen. How rare is that with prog!??? Excellent songwriting and musicianship. Can’t wait to dive into the rest of the collection. Thomas Lock
